On-site or in-house marking blanks

GSM Online Label Sales can announce that we will remain open throughout the latest national lockdown as we are an essential supplier that manufactures labels and overlays for instrumentation used within the medical industry, amongst others.

We will continue to deliver labels that are ordered through our website within the advised time scale. Our suppliers continue to deliver so we can continue to manufacture labels.

We continue to manufacture marking blanks that can be marked on site at your factory using dot peen, engraving or laser marking machinery. Marking blanks in-house may be an option for companies who are finding it difficult to predict the product output given the ongoing pandemic.

Anodised aluminium marking blanks
GSM Online Label Sales can manufacture anodised aluminium blanks that can be marked in your factory or on-site using either a laser marking or engraving machine. For use on site these machines can be handheld. Blank anodised aluminium labels can be used and either laser engraved, dot peened or laser marked to create a contrast and detail on the plate.

Alternatively, GSM Online Label Sales manufactures and supplies coloured aluminium blanks. These blanks offer a bold colour that has been printed into the pores of anodised aluminium to create a hard-wearing colour finish. When marked the colour reveals natural aluminium to form the information engraved.

304 Stainless steel marking blanks
Should you require a stainless steel blank for marking in-house GSM Online Label Sales can offer 304 stainless steel which is used for many catering and refrigeration applications because of its hygienic properties. As with aluminium stainless steel blanks can be laser marked, engraved or dot peen marked in-house using either hand held or static machines.

Marking blanks made from 316 stainless steel
316 stainless steel is commonly used within the offshore and marine environment because of its resilient properties as a metal. Many labels in the offshore environment cannot be pre-determined and therefore the option to mark detail onto a plate whilst on-site is ever a popular option when creating the required information to be displayed. The on-site marking option saves precious time as products can be installed and maintained etc within one trip to site rather than various trips.
